Situation
The Prairie 1 urban development is located in a newly developed area at the heart of this SEED-certified eco-district, characterized by a large, open, planted space. The landscaping is organized around a cultivated north-south axis that connects the wooded hillside to the banks of the Gérine River. This cultivated axis is structured around a network of pedestrian and bicycle paths with permeable soil, vegetable gardens planted with isolated landmark trees and fruit trees of heritage varieties, and a large area of wildflower meadow.

To the north and west, Prairie 1 is being built in relation to a more urban environment: the site of the former paper mill. The layout offers a network of welcoming and shaded small squares that extend from the activities on the ground floor of the buildings.

At the heart of the block, Prairie 1 offers two large, open, and free communal spaces connected to the common room and the future activities of the buildings.
