The Hotel DES ALPES was built in 1850 and is centrally located in Inden, a few kilometers from Leukerbad. It initially served as a transshipment and relaxation place for mules and animals on their goods transport, a so-called soste.
It was later converted into a guesthouse/restaurant and was operated by the former owner until 2010.
In the years 2018 - 2020, their descendants “completely renovated” the building and equipped it with the most modern facilities.
The roof, facade, all walls and floors, heating, electrical installations, water, sanitary facilities, kitchens, water connections, electricity, all pipes, etc. were renovated or replaced. Thermal heat treatment (solar energy) provides hot water and supports the heating in winter.
A modern catering kitchen was installed on the ground floor. We also find a restaurant with a new buffet and wine cabinet as well as a “Walliser Stube”. A 2-stage ventilation extractor ensures that the air is always pleasant. Guests can also be served on the sun terrace.
There are 4 ultra-modern rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, 2 of which have a built-in kitchen, all with shower and toilet, as well as a reception and trunk.
The attic was expanded with 2 spacious suites with kitchen and shower/toilet.
All rooms have internet and coax cable for satellite connection.
The old, beautiful stone floors in the stairs and hallways were left in place. All other rooms as well as the restaurant and Valais lounge have been equipped with high-quality oak floors.
The beautiful vaulted cellars in the basement offer potential for various uses.
Due to the existing room concept and furnishings, the rooms/suites can also be occupied when the restaurant is not open.
The hotel is rented until at least July 31, 2033. A buyer would have to take over the rental agreement with interesting conditions.
